In the film “Gaami”, the protagonist, played by Vishwak Sen, is called Shankar and is suffering from a dangerous illness. His physical contact with other people burns his skin and causes him to temporarily lose consciousness. Due to this, he is forced to leave his Ashramam. A sympathizer tells him that there is a medicinal herb in the Himalayas that has the potential to alleviate his suffering. Alongside Jahnavi, played by Chandini Chowdary, the film chronicles Shankar’s search. As the story progresses, the origins of Shankar’s illness and his backstory are revealed.

Analysis: By the end of the film, audiences will wonder how a rookie director and a new production team managed to create such a large-scale film. Gaami’s script is very difficult to do in terms of locations and in terms of complex script. The way three parallel threads connect in the climax makes this movie a winner. This GAAMI film mThe idea is global in scale, but budgetary limitations are visible. On the other hand, the narration is slow. The heroine Chandini Chowdary’s subplot is not written properly. The purpose of her expedition, which endangers her life, is not justified.

Performances: Viswaksen’s portrayal of Shankar is an impeccable casting choice. The role of the heroine, played by Chandini, is quite limited. The supporting roles, although few, are played by relatively new artists. This aspect brings freshness to the film.
The production values ​​are very good. The locations are impressive and the scenery of the detention center is of international level.

Debutant director Vidyadhar deserves all the critical praise for dreaming up this project and achieving it. Vishwanath Reddy’s camera work is very good and Naresh Kumaran’s music is good with a new background score. Besides the director, these two guys added value to the film.

Surprisingly, this film offers a truly unique viewing experience. Debutant director Vidyadhar masterfully blends various genres in the script, creating a film that is part fantasy and part adventure, all complemented by exceptional visuals and a good background score. However, it has its slow-paced moments, and not for the masses! Overall, watch it to experience a completely different movie.
