In a recent development, cricketer Virat Kohli has reportedly leased 18,430 sq ft of office space in Gurugram to corporate firm Mynd Integrated Solutions. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics company, the annual rent for this space amounts to Rs 1.27 crore.
According to documents cited by money control, cricketer Virat Kohli has leased a total of 12 office spaces, with a combined built-up area of 18,430 sq ft, at the Reach Comercia corporate tower located in Sector 68, Gurugram. The deal was finalized with a monthly rental of approximately Rs 8.85 lakh per month.
The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 3.83 lakh, along with registration fees of Rs 50,010. The tenant, Mynd Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, is a Delhi-based company. Notably, the deal was facilitated through Vikas Kohli, the registered general power of attorney (GPA) holder of RCB star player Virat Kohli, who is also his brother.
Although stamp duty registration for the transaction took place on June 22, 2023, documents regarding the deal were not available until March 2024.
According to the documents, the initial monthly rent per square foot for the deal is Rs 48, with a security deposit of Rs 57.19 lakh. Additionally, the office spaces are accompanied by 37 parking spaces, as indicated in the documents.
The lease runs for nine years, beginning March 28, 2023. Additionally, rental payments under the agreement began July 1, 2023.
The documents state that under the terms of the agreement, there will be an annual rent increase of five per cent, while common area maintenance charges amount to Rs 14 per sq ft per month.
