Helldivers 2’s new Cutting Edge premium Warbond is now available, adding new weapons, gear and armor to the hit co-op shooter for PC and PlayStation 5.

Warbond, which is Helldivers 2’s version of a battle pass, has no time limit. This means that once you purchase it, you can unlock its rewards whenever you want. The previous premium Warbond, Steeled Veterans, is still available.

The Vanguard costs 1000 Super Credits. While you can earn Super Credits by playing and with Warbond itself, you can also purchase them with real-world money. Through the in-game store, 1,000 Super Credits cost $9.99.

Helldivers 2 Cutting Edge Warbond content:

The EX series prototypes

  • EX-03 Prototype 3: includes a rubber bottom layer for insulation. Really useful, since the cables of this prototype operate at a shocking 400,000 volts.
  • EX-16 Prototype 16 – Warning: The electric arc generates a strong magnetic field. Avoid using it near stapled documents.
  • EX-00 Prototype Show us it was worth it.

Expanded Arsenal

  • LAS-16 Sickle – A sweet laser rifle that fires in short bursts. And it doesn’t need to be recharged. Just keep an eye out for overheating or put a new heatsink in there.
  • SG-8P Punisher Plasma: Explosive plasma bullets sound deadly… because they are, to aliens and allies alike! This modified Punisher shotgun is as fun as it is scary.
  • ARC-12 Blitzer: Project a short-range arc of lightning or charge it to fire powerful bolts. Good for eliminating multiple targets and giving you more time to choose a celebratory emote.
  • And you can unlock a new stun grenade, the G-23 Stun, and the LAS-7 Dagger pistol.

Three new layers are included in Warbond, with matching player cards for each layer, as well as three new emotes. There’s also a new boost, called Localization Confusion, which increases the time between enemy encounters.

There’s a lot going on in the world of Helldivers 2 right now. Developer Arrowhead simply quietly released flying bugs into the game and made mechs available last week. Meanwhile, Arrowhead has asked the Helldivers 2 community for help to generate ideas for the “hard to solve” problem of players kicking teammates who don’t have meta gear.

Helldivers 2 has become one of the surprise hits of 2024 since its release in February. topping the charts on Steam and supposedly selling around three million copies. According to at least one analyst, continues to grow. Verify IGN’s Helldivers 2 Review to find out why it’s going down so well.
