“Hootie and the Pufferfish” Singer Dario Rucker has been arrested for a drug crime in Williamson County, Tennessee.
According to police records, Rucker was arrested by bus on a misdemeanor drug charge and charged with three separate misdemeanors.
The country singer was arrested on Thursday, February 1, 2023, around 10 a.m. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Department arrested the singer and he posed for a mugshot.
It’s unclear what led to the arrest, but the musician was arrested on two counts of “simple possession/casual exchange of a controlled substance” and violation of the state’s vehicle registration law. The vehicle charge is related to having expired tags on the vehicle in which he was traveling.
