This 23.8-inch touchscreen device packs powerful specs into a super-portable 4.1kg body. The secret sauce is the built-in handle and self-deploying support legs that allow you to pick it up and place it anywhere without having to worry about cables. A battery even keeps it powered while you move between rooms.
According to the product images, the PC looks like a too thin briefcase when folded. There is also a case where you can store the included keyboard, which by the way also has a touchpad.
Under the hood, you’ll find 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processors and integrated graphics that can handle home office work, e-learning, and movie streaming. The QHD screen resolution provides additional clarity whether you’re working on a document or watching your favorite Netflix show. Plus, the IMAX Enhanced specification takes that visual immersion even further when it’s time to watch a movie.
Of course, a machine designed for video calls needs a solid camera. The Envy Move has a 5MP HP Wide Vision camera with an adjustable field of view, so you stay well framed on group calls. And physical camera shutters give you privacy when you’re not in a conference.
Envy Move also works well with your phone via Intel Unison, allowing you to access notifications, messages, and more. Sound quality also keeps up with the times, with Bang & Olufsen audio technology that adapts volume levels based on your location.
Great portability means… moving around a lot. HP incorporated smart sensing technology to make life easier. The screen automatically adjusts brightness based on your surroundings and can even go out of focus if someone gets too close to look over your shoulder. Move away and the screen will lock automatically.
In terms of sustainability, more than half of the machine is made from post-consumer recycled plastic. It is EPEAT Gold and Energy Star certified.
