It’s been less than a week since Hrithik Roshan released his action film ‘Fighter’, and ETimes has learned that the actor is all set to start working on his next.
Roshan is all set to start working on the much-awaited sequel to ‘WAR’. We have learned that the actor will be back in front of the cameras in a matter of days, as the film progresses into the second week of February. The actor, who got fit and in shape to fight in ‘Fighter’, has already entered ‘WAR 2‘ and began rigorous preparation for the shoot.
The first schedule of the film is scheduled to be shot entirely in Mumbai. A reliable source revealed, “Ayan Mukerji already captured location plates abroad about two months ago. Currently, a set is being constructed in the city in preparation for Hrithik’s first shooting schedule.” ‘WAR’, which was released in 2019, was a box office success. The Sidharth Anand-directed film earned an impressive Rs 475 crore in the domestic market, making it one of the most successful films. For the sequel, director Siddharth has passed the baton to ‘Brahmastra’ director Ayan Mukerji.
The film will reportedly see the South superstar. Jr NTR playing the role of the antagonist opposite Hrithik, who will reprise his super spy persona for the next chapter of the action entertainer. Interestingly, this film is not only the next chapter in YRF’s spy universe but is rumored to have a direct link with Salman Khan.‘Tiger 3’ and Shahrukh KhanIt is ‘Pathaan’. The film will reportedly launch the much-awaited ‘Tiger vs Pathaan‘ which was announced before ‘WAR 2’.

‘WAR 2’ is reportedly targeting a late 2024 release, setting the stage for ‘Tiger vs. Pathan‘ which is currently considering a 2025 release.
