tFive-year-old Czech Krystyna Pyszková has been crowned the 71st Miss World in Bombay. After being crowned by the reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska In an emotional moment at the Jio Convention Centre, Pyszková described her victory as historic.

Pyszková stated that the Czech Republic represents the “charming beauty of culture, of nature.” “We have many beautiful historical places. We have the largest number of castles in all of Europe. There are many things to see and I couldn’t be more empowered to represent my beautiful Czech Republic,” said Pyszková.

The model, who has been studying two degrees in Law and Business Administration, was seen wearing a garlate design dress by a Thai designer that was custom made for her. “A Thai designer made it for me and I was very excited to work with him from the first time I saw his dresses. I wanted his work to be my final dress. So I sent him ideas of what I have in mind. He created exactly what I wanted. So I am very happy about it,” said Pyszkova, who is passionate about the arts and she likes to play the flute and the violin.
Sharing her experience of being in India for the past month, Pyszková said, “I love being in India. I must say that all the people are very welcoming, very helpful and very kind. I feel at home. It is very important to me because it allows me to give my best performance on stage. Plus, the culture is amazing. It is a very diverse country. I definitely learn a lot here. “I would be very grateful if I could return to India.”
Considering that beauty, fashion and sustainability are intertwined, Pyszková described sustainability as a critical issue. “I think that’s what we should all think about because it’s the key to solving many of our problems. I’m also trying to bring sustainability into my life. So, on the Miss World stage, my national costume designer dress was made from recyclable materials with a new shine. So I think we should all act like this,” shared Pyszková, who wore an Ardo dress designed by Sam Docle, designer and creative director of Miss Czech Republic and stylist.
It should be noted that, according to Miss World.com, the description of Dolce’s dress for Ardo describes it as a fusion of tradition and contemporary design. He was inspired by the folklore and traditions of Bohemia and Moravia, as well as Krystyna’s hobbies. “Krystyna is a passionate horsewoman and lover of horse riding, horse racing and all horse related activities. The cut of the upper part of the dress is inspired by equestrian fashion and the accessories by the prominent Czech couturier Jolana Kotábová underline the classic lines of the model. Pyszková changed gears and defended the need for women and young women assume their ability to act.
