“I made friends as a consultant, now ‘vibes’ as a boss: Internet splits on LinkedIn profile with ‘perfect explanations’

One LinkedIn user caught attention for clever job descriptions he used to explain his role in each of his job profiles. An X (formerly known as Twitter) user, Vibin Babuurajan, shared a screenshot of Mahesh Suthar’s LinkedIn profile. The screenshot shows how Suthar used jokes to describe his achievements or lessons learned in each job.

According to the viral post, Suthar wrote that as a product marketing director, he “learned how to market.” As a consultant, he said, “he made friends.” Next, under the Talent Acquisition Leader profile, Suthar “learned how to recruit.”

He then “learned to manage recruiters” as Associate Directors and “learned to manage managers” as a Company Director.

Eventually, Suthar “stopped learning much” as a senior director. Finally, when he rose to the position of India’s Chief Recruiter, he described the role as simply “vibrant”.

Vibin Babuurajan shared the screenshot of Suthar’s LinkedIn profile and captioned his post as “LinkedIn experience description done right.” Suthar reacted to his post by saying, “Comment for better reach 👍🏻.”

Several other social media users commented on Babuurajan’s post on X. One said, “He should have mentioned quantitative data like: he made how many friends.” Another commented: “Who said perfect explanations don’t exist?”

In the past too, Vibin Babuurajan shared many funny LinkedIn profile descriptions which eventually went viral.

Previously, another LinkedIn profile took the internet by storm when a person proudly tagged themselves as “Investor” in the Work Experience section. There was also a viral case where a woman included “housewife” in her work experience.

In another news, Bengaluru-based Shikha Gupta’s description in a job profile went viral as she listed her honest professional experience at a company on LinkedIn. In one of the experiences shared by Gupta, he wrote: “I made a mistake. I gave it a year to make sure just in case. We move on.” Shikha Gupta’s LinkedIn page was also shared by Vibin Babuurajan.
