India vs England Third Test Day 2 Live Result, Day 2: India lost their night batsmen Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav in the first hour of Day 2 of the Third Test at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot against England. Debutant Dhruv Jurel (31*) and R Ashwin (25*) are involved in an unbeaten 57-run stand for the eighth wicket. Jurel was riddled by shots but weathered the storm and showed immaculate courage on his debut. Earlier, James Anderson removed nightwatchman Kuldeep Yadav in the 4th over and Joe Root ended centurion Jadeja’s brilliant knock.
Jadeja was India’s second-highest run-scorer in the first innings after captain Rohit Sharma, who also registered a three-figure score. Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bat first in Rajkot. But England quickly left them struggling at 33/3 in the first session before Rohit and Jadeja added 204 runs for the fourth wicket.
