‘Indian Idol 14’: Vaibhav Gupta lifts trophy and takes home Rs 25 lakh

Vaibhav Gupta emerged as the winner of ‘Indian Idol 14’. The singer from Kanpur won a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. The exciting final episode of ‘Indian Idol 14’ took place on Sunday, March 3.

Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury and Piyush Panwar were declared first and second runners-up respectively. They were presented with a trophy and a check of Rs 5 lakh each. Meanwhile, Ananya Pal was declared the third runner-up. She received a check of Rs 3 lakh.

Vaibhav, who hails from Kanpur, won hearts with his powerful performance during the audition and garnered praise from notable celebrity guests who graced the show throughout the show.

Expressing his happiness after lifting the trophy, Vaibhav shared, “It feels surreal to have won the ‘Indian Idol 14’ trophy. Carrying forward the legacy of this beloved and prestigious show is a tremendous honour. The judge of the show, Shreya Ghoshal, spoke about Vaibhav and his talents.
