Television star Rashami Desai, who criticized Ranveer Singh’s viral ad with adult film actor Johnny Sins, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, clarified that she has a problem with the content of the ad and not with Ranveer Singh. The men’s health brand’s ad is a parody of highly dramatic daily shows. Talking about the announcement, Rashami Desai told Hindustan Times, “This is not about Ranveer Singh. I don’t want any complication to happen. My words are very clear.” And he added: “On television we have never shown things like that. People always make fun of the small screen, but they go to television when they need to promote (movies). Television has the greatest reach, but it is also degraded. “There is no respectful balance. “I felt bad because I’ve been working here.”
Rashami Desai’s statement comes a few days after she criticized the ad. Ms Desai’s Instagram story read: “I started my work in a regional film industry. And then I started working in the television industry. People call it small screen. Where normal people watch news, cricket, all #Bollywood movies too and much more.” More.
