Travis Kelce and his brother Jason addressed the tragic shooting in Kansas City in the middle of the parade celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.

“We just wanted to say that our hearts go out to all the victims, their families, Chiefs Kingdom and really all of Kansas City that was there on a day to try to celebrate the community,” Jason said in the video shared on the X platform. social networks formerly known as Twitter.

Jason continued: “And it is unfortunate and deeply tragic the events that occurred. We also want to thank the local authorities who took action. “The first responders on the scene and anyone who was willing to help those affected by this tragedy.”

The brothers shared a link where fans can support victims and their families with funds that also go to violence prevention, mental health services and first responders.

Jason noted that the duo were planning to “do something in the future” and “try to get a hold of it right now” with “some ideas” they should get involved in to help.
