“Wow, Dad,” Ava says after serving breakfast.

“I’m getting back into my routine,” Renner responds with a knowing smile. The message goes beyond breakfast on the table.

Renner was a good fit for Silk’s first Super Bowl ad because, as PEOPLE reports, he’s not only a famous San Francisco 49ers fan; he is a fan of the product. He used the company’s almond milk in smoothies while he recovered from the accident that nearly took his life.

On January 1, 2023, Renner was crushed by a snowplow while trying to deflect it from hitting his nephew. He was later airlifted to a hospital and treated for blunt trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries. He was in the hospital for two weeks and later revealed on social media that he had broken more than 30 bones.

Appearing on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast a little over a month ago, he said his recovery has been going well because he’s a “pretty stubborn son of a bitch.”

“I feel very blessed to have so many things to live for,” he told Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. “I have a giant family. I have a 10-year-old daughter. I would have been disappointed and really if he had passed away, he would have ruined a lot of people’s lives, so I have a lot of things to improve on.”

For the commercial, the Hawk Eye At first, the actor wasn’t sure he could do the moves. “I don’t know if I can do anything physical (at that time). “They have a specialist there ready to do some of these things.” Renner told CNN this week. “I already told you there’s no way I’m doing all this stuff on the counters and jumping.”

However, when it came time to shoot, Renner tried. “I did the spin kick, the cardboard (throw),” he said. “It’s like there’s no way I could do this. There is simply no way. And suddenly, somehow, I understood. It only took a few takes, but when I actually did it, I felt adrenaline, there was a huge scream from all the people there.”

While Renner did his own stunts, he told CNN that his body is “far from being 100 percent back.” However, she feels “mentally and emotionally a thousand percent in my mind.”

Or, you know, “it feels good, da na na na na na na an.”
