Joy Behar criticized the late Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday for spending 70 years as Britain’s longest-reigning monarch on “The View” amid King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

Buckingham Palace announced Monday that after just 17 months as king, Charles, 75, will begin cancer treatment.

Both her sons, Prince William, 41, and Prince Harry, 39, rushed to her side.

“I hope that helps his prognosis because sometimes less stress can help,” Whoopi Goldberg said of her family’s support for the monarch.

“Poor Charles,” Behar added, agreeing with Goldberg that he had waited “so long” to assume the throne.

“I mean, the woman was in office for 70 years, you know, and it was the longest reign. I think she could use some term limits,” the red-haired comedian joked.

“The View” co-host claimed Queen Elizabeth should have given her son his “day in the sun.”

“It’s like, why not just quit and let Charles have his day in the sun?” Behar continued. “The poor guy finally becomes king and now he has an illness. That doesn’t seem fair. There is something wrong with it.”

Charles’s mother, Isabel, ruled from February 1952 until her death in September 2022. She died of “old age” at age 96.

While Harry may have crossed the pond to be with his father, a source confirmed to The Post on Tuesday that he and William will not be reuniting.

The brothers have been on bad terms at least since Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to California in 2020. But the source added that William has “no plans” to see Harry. how will do. He will return to royal duties after caring for his wife Kate Middleton while he recovers from abdominal surgery.

Charles appeared to be in good spirits on Tuesday morning when he was seen alongside his wife, Queen Camilla, leaving Clarence House, where Harry had reportedly paid a “quick visit”.
