The other day, it was announced that star hero Jr. NTR’s next film Devara is scheduled for grand release on October 10, 2024, which is during the Dusshera weekend. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, is based on the forgotten coastal lands of India. Interestingly, Devara will compete with Thandel, which is also set against the backdrop of the sea.
Thandel, headlined by Naga Chaitanya, is written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Today, the director revealed that they are planning to bring the film to theaters during the Dussehra festive season. Naga Chaitanya will be seen opposite dancing queen Sai Pallavi in this romantic drama mixed with patriotic elements. Thandel is the most expensive and prestigious project in Chaitanya’s career.
Naga Chaitanya’s latest films disappointed the audiences. Although Dhootha is a big hit on OTT, Chaitu is hoping for a theatrical hit and pinned all his hopes on Thandel. Naga Chaitanya plays a fisherman in this film who is captured by the Pakistani government. Bunny Vas produces it on a grand scale, while Allu Arvind is the host.
