Justin Timberlake has released a new song and an accompanying video.

“Selfish” previews the March 15 release of the Grammy Award-winning artist’s upcoming album, Everything I thought I was the first in five years.

The video, which received nearly 300,000 views on YouTube within hours of its release on Thursday, is very goal. It shows Timberlake’s trial and error approach when making the video.

Timberlake performed his new single live for the first time at a concert in Memphis, where he was born, five days ago. He introduced the performance with a nod to the gray suit he was wearing. “We don’t dress up for nothing, right?” he said.

The 42-year-old’s latest album, forest mantook first place in the Billboard 200 with the highest first week sales at the time of its release in 2018.

Since then, the artist has largely stayed out of the pop music spotlight. He has collaborated with other artists such as SZA and Pharrell Williams, appeared on movie soundtracks, and briefly reunited with NSYNC, the boy band that launched his music career in the 1990s.

Listeners enthusiastically received the new single on social media. “I’m so happy he made a sweet ballad,” wrote one fan, Brittany Edwards. “I’ve been missing them. Honestly, it sounds like it could have been an NSYNC song. This is going to be on repeat.”
