Kacey Musgraves Performs “Deeper Well” and “Too Good to Be True” on Saturday Night Live: Watch

Kacey Musgraves was the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday night live. The country star performed the main song from his next album, deepest wellas well as the recently released song “Too good to be true.” For both of her SNL On the sets, Musgraves sang backed by a full band. Watch the performances, as well as the promo for their episode with host Sydney Sweeney and cast member Heidi Gardner, below.

This was the third time Musgraves appeared on Saturday night live as musical guest. She did his musical debut on the show in 2018 in support of her Grammy winner album golden hourand then returned in 2021 to play “Justified” and “Camera Roll” from Star-crossed.

deepest well is out next week, March 15 (via Interscope/MCA Nashville). The Texas-born singer reunited with her golden hour and Star-crossed collaborators Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk to record the album.

Once deepest well is out, Musgraves will embark on a great tour to perform material from the album live, with dates planned in Europe and North America. Select opening shows are Father John Misty, Lord Huron and Nickel Creek.
