During the announcement event, when Karan Johar invited the team of the show to join him on stage, Varun Dhawan surprised everyone by touching Karan’s feet as a sign of respect. Karan was left speechless by the gesture, while the audience burst into laughter at the unexpected moment. Following Varun, Samantha also did the same and touched Karan’s feet, prompting the director to shout “No” in a humorous response. Varun then said, “I think everyone should do it.” Karan said, ‘No, I don’t want to grow old here, please.’ I’m fighting a midlife crisis; I don’t need you to put me in my place. Thank you.’ Speaking about being part of the series, Samantha said: “I never would have imagined she would act.” But today, for me, being in this event is already a great victory, because at the last moment I didn’t think I could do it.
