Karan Singh Grover is riding high on the success of Fighter, which released in theaters last week. in a new interview With Bollywood Hungama, Karan Singh Grover opened up about the difficult time he had to leave his newborn daughter Devi five days after she was born to film for Fighter. What Karan said about his daughter Devi
Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Karan Singh Grover said, “If you knew her story, even though she is 14 months old, she was born with two holes in her heart and we had to go through open heart surgery. When Mamta (from (production house Marflix) ) first found out and was like, ‘She’s a wrestler.’ I was like, ‘Dude, she’s like the smallest wrestler we have, and she was the first one.’ She’s like the wrestler and her being with the wrestler. as if they merged.”
Karan also spoke about the “difficult situation” and how he and Bipasha Basu faced it together. “Well, we didn’t really know until the third day after she was born. I would just say that being a father requires a little more strength and respect towards all fathers, man. And I think it was a very, very difficult situation,” he added.

During a recent chat with actress Neha Dhupia on Instagram Live in August last year, Bipasha got emotional as she revealed that her daughter was born with two holes in the heart. and she had surgery when she was about three months old. “I remember the third month, when we went for the scan, I did pretty much all the research, I met the surgeons, I was in hospitals, I talked to the doctors and I was like prepared, Karan was not prepared. I knew that she “had to be well and I knew she would be fine. And now she’s fine. But the difficult decision was to operate on her son in the right place and at the right time,” she had said.
