Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, said on March 22 that she is receiving treatment for cancer, following abdominal surgery in January, the news agency reported. AP.

The video message was recorded on Wednesday and aired on Friday following incessant speculation on social media after she was hospitalized in January for unspecified abdominal surgery.

In the message, he asked for “time, space and privacy” while receiving treatment for an unspecified type of cancer, which was discovered after his surgery, the report added.

“I’m doing well,” he said in the video, adding, “I’m getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal.”

It is understood Kate had not been seen publicly since Christmas until a video emerged this week of her with her husband, Prince William, heir to the throne, walking from a farm shop near their home in Windsor.

Kensington Palace had shared few details about Kate’s condition, beyond saying it was not related to cancer, that the surgery was successful and that recovery would keep the princess away from public duties until April. Kate said her condition was thought to be non-cancerous until tests revealed the diagnosis.

“This, of course, came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing our best to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,” she said.

Since the announcement last month that King Charles III was being treated for an unspecified type of cancer that was discovered while undergoing a procedure for a benign enlarged prostate, this news is another jolt for the royal family.

‘Leave Kate alone!’

Meanwhile, former England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen also commented on the issue.

“The conspiracy theories surrounding Kate are absolutely absurd! We see W&K most days and the last few days too! “It’s unbelievable that people are so ridiculous and cruel by writing SHIT on this platform that is pure lies!” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“W&K are wonderful parents and very normal and humble. Let K recover, he is recovering from an operation. Leave her and her beautiful family alone!!!!” he added.
