Kate Middleton continues to recover from planned abdominal surgery. But her health battle has undermined her confidence and left her feeling “fragile”, an expert claims.

The Princess of Wales, 42, is expected to return to public duties sometime after Easter, but royal writer Jennie Bond says her progress could be hampered by her uncle Gary Goldsmith’s appearance on the show “Celebrity Big Brother” from the United Kingdom.

Goldsmith, brother of the princess’s mother Carole Middleton, has been making on-air comments about his royal niece, which may be causing undue stress for the royals.

“Clearly, whatever has happened to Catherine, she probably feels fragile, mentally too,” Bond said. Mirror.

“Having a serious setback like this at the best time of your life must affect your confidence and therefore she will be fragile at this stage of her recovery and will have to deal with this. She must just be thinking, ‘Why, why, why did Uncle Gary have to do this?’ I imagine that she is very depressed about it,” added the expert.

Goldsmith addressed Kate’s health battle on “Celebrity Big Brother” earlier this week, following feverish global speculation about her whereabouts.

He said the princess was receiving “the best care in the world” after her two-week stay in a London hospital in January.

He added that “the whole family has lowered the cars” to support the royals.

However, Bond believes that Goldsmith might be pretending to be closer to Kate than he really is.

“I don’t think it’s a particularly close relationship and I don’t think he’s part of the ‘inner circle’ anymore; I think he’s been pushed more and more outside of that circle now,” she said.

Since her surgery, Middleton has reportedly been recovering at her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.

“Kensington Palace made the princess’ recovery timelines clear in January and we would only provide meaningful updates. That guidance remains,” her office told the Post last week, adding that she was “doing well.”

On Monday, the mother of three was seen for the first time since her surgery alongside her mother Carole, 69, sitting in the passenger seat of a car.

Her last public appearance was on Christmas Day, where she attended church in Sandringham with her husband, Prince William, and their three children.
