Kate Upton looked like a blonde bombshell as she arrived at the starry Disney Upfront 2024 showcase in New York City on Tuesday, after her Sports Illustrated cover was revealed.
The model, 31, hit the red carpet in a sexy, tight-fitting black midi dress that showed off her famous curves.
She styled the ankle-length dress with sheer black heels.
With a noticeable tan, Upton looked absolutely radiant as she posed for photos at the event.
The mother-of-one’s blonde curls fell down her chest and her makeup looked soft but sultry.
Her plump pout was ultra-bright and made her blue eyes pop with smudged black eyeliner.
For an ethereal glow, the buxom blonde dusted her cheeks with a luminous blush in pink tones.
She flashed a radiant smile as she posed with her chiseled arms at her sides.
Tuesday marked a busy day for Upton, who stopped by the CBS Morning Show early to talk about her selection to grace one of Sports Illustrated’s 60th anniversary covers, which includes seven special edition issues.
Gayle King, Hunter McGrady and CBS’ Chrissy Teigen were among the other candidates selected for the special swimsuit shoot.
For her cover, the veteran model looked flawless in a red and pink Normaillot bikini as she stood with her arms above her head and impressive abs on display.
‘It’s about having confidence in your body no matter what you look like. Your voice matters. You can empower yourself if you are confident,’ she said on the morning show.
“It looks so good,” he told CBS host Nate Burleson when he first saw the finished cover. “It never gets old, (Sports Illustrated) always finds a way to surprise me.”
The mother of one went on to say that after having six covers in the magazine, she feels it was the best decision for her.
“It completely changed my career,” she said of her first cover. ‘It was a dream of mine. Sports Illustrated is the only magazine that puts your name next to your photo.
Upton reposted the revelation on her Instagram, writing: ‘Thrilled to be back with my SI family! @yutsai88, @mj_day and the entire SI team really feel like family. I’m so grateful to share this amazing journey with all of you!’
SI Swim editor-in-chief MJ Day explained on CBS Mornings: ‘Listen, there are a lot of swimsuit photos in this issue.
‘We’re not short of swimsuits, but I like the idea of all these women coming together in a way that’s different for us.
“I want the world to realize that SportsIllustrated has evolved into a powerful vehicle for change with much broader reach.”
MJ added in a statement that he wanted to go all out for this year’s covers since it is the magazine’s 60th anniversary.
‘A 60th anniversary is something very important. “It may not be recognized as generously as the number 50, but we feel that we should also celebrate 60 wholeheartedly, for one simple reason: because the journey we have been on over the past 10 years is something we humbly consider revolutionary,” he explained.
‘We have destroyed stereotypes. We have embraced diversity. We have defended inclusion.
“With each passing year, we have challenged ourselves to push the boundaries and redefine what it means to be a Sports Illustrated Swimmer.”
