Kelly Rowland left the set of the Today yesterday’s show, according to to “Page Six.” She appeared on the show Thursday at 8 a.m. to talk about her role in Tyler Perry. Mea culpa, and was scheduled to serve as guest host at 10 a.m. on Today with Hoda and Jenna. But Rowland was reportedly not thrilled with the old building’s locker rooms, which actually have a reputation for being tiny. Rowland’s team is said to have inquired about moving her to an upstairs green room that turned out to be occupied by Jennifer Lopez, who was there to promote her new album and its accompanying film. Was it a diva situation where JLo was like, “This is mine…now”? It is not clear. Sources told “Page Six” that Rowland decided to leave abruptly and her representatives did not immediately respond to Vulture’s request for comment. Either way, Hoda Kotb had to hire Rita Ora as a last-minute replacement. (“We had two minutes to prepare ahhh,” Ora indirectly confirmed in instagram.) Now, does this mean that Ora has a habit of hanging around the sets of talk shows in case someone backs out? We wish. It seems like she was already supposed to come on the show that day to talk about The masked singer, and made room in his schedule to stay. How much space did she have? Today do for her?
