Kelly Rowland is a survivor.

Sherri Shepherd revealed that she successfully interviewed the former Destiny’s Child member after the latter stormed out of her appearance on the “Today” show last week over an inappropriate dressing room.

In a clip from Tuesday, which appeared to open the interview, the singer praised Shepherd, 56, for “being light and positive energy in this space.”

The clip, which was shared by Shepherd, 56, on Instagram led many fans to joke that the daytime talk show host had given Rowland, 43, a better dressing room than the NBC show. YouTube / Sherri

“We needed you,” Rowland continued. “And I thank you very much for your light.”

The exchange led many critics to joke that the daytime talk show host had given Rowland, 43, a better dressing room than the NBC show.

“I guess his dressing room was okay,” one fan sarcastically said, prompting Shepherd to respond: “Oh, we gave him a lovely room. It’s Kelendria Rowland.

“I guess he has bigger dressing rooms,” a second fan laughed.

One fan took a more polarized view, saying the singer made the brief statement to downplay her recent behavior.

“Why do I feel like she started like that? So Sherri wouldn’t ask her about the daytime talk show drama where she came out of her dressing room,” they commented.

Last week, Rowland made headlines when she quit the “Today” show because her dressing rooms were reportedly “not up to par.” Her abrupt departure left Hoda Kotb fighting for her guest hosting spot.

“Kelly and his team were not happy,” a source close to the incident told Page Six. “They didn’t like the dressing room, so they decided to take her off the show, leaving Hoda without a guest host for the 10 a.m. hours.”

The actress and her team reportedly played in “musical dressing rooms” before asking for a dressing room on a different floor. However, she was already taken by Jennifer Lopez.

The show offered the “Mea Culpa” actress several other options, including multiple talent dressing rooms and larger hair and makeup areas.

“They didn’t want that. (The show) basically offered everything they could, but they weren’t happy with it, so they walked and left,” the source said.

Despite the setback, Kotb, 56, was later joined by British superstar Rita Ora, who stepped in at the last minute.

Ora, 33 years old, confirmed his appearance on the broadcast via Instagram, stating that he only had “two minutes to prepare.”

“Well this happened” the singer of “Ritual” captioned a slideshow of photos. “We had two minutes to prepare ahhh thank you @hodaandjenna for asking me to co-host the show.”

“Everyone was so lovely and kind and I had a lot of fun doing it,” he added. “Love to everyone who tuned in, maybe we should do more.”

Rowland, for her part, has not yet commented on the drama.
