Nasir Khan has revealed the humble beginnings of the Khans: Shah Rukh, Salman Khanand Aamir Khan – before his rise to stardom. He shared his understanding of his struggles during a low phase, remembering his modest adjustments but that he had great aspirations.
Nasirr Khan, the son of the late actor Johnny WalkerHe was active in the film industry during the 1990s and shared a close bond with Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Nasirr said that they used to spend a lot of time at Bandstand and he also used to come to Salman’s house a lot. Before he bought the bungalow (Mannat), he used to hang out there on the Bandstand road. Him, Salman, Arbaaz and Shah Rukh. Later, when he became a star, he bought that bungalow. When he came to Mumbai, they got to know each other a lot and he played video games with him.
He further added that they did this till ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Darr’, till the time he became a superstar. When ‘Darr’ was released, people had gone crazy for it. When they meet today it is the same, they are normal and casual. She continues to meet Salman often and recently met Aamir as well.
Nasirr recalled the challenges faced by artistes, remembering a time when Salman was struggling to make a successful film. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, amid Salman’s string of film flops, Nasirr recounted a night when they had dinner together at a seafood restaurant in Juhu.
The actor said the three Khans had always been sure of their wants and needs and continued with their heads on their shoulders. Salman, he said, still lives in a 1 BHK, while Shah Rukh bought a mansion after living in a house so small that opening the door was over.
He added that it was right behind his bungalow, which only had a hall, where he would put a mattress and sleep. He then went to Carter Road and bought an apartment there, which was also a normal apartment. By then he could afford a bigger house, but he didn’t buy it. He knew, “That’s my dream, but let me take care of my needs first.”
