“Knight Flower” Finale Breaks Record for Highest Ratings of Any Friday-Saturday Drama in MBC History

On February 17, the hit action comedy drama finished with the highest ratings of its entire career. According to Nielsen Korea, “Knight Flower” earned a nationwide average rating of 18.4 percent for its series finale, marking a dramatic 3 percent jump from its penultimate episode the previous night.

“Knight Flower” not only set a new personal record with its finale, but also broke the record for the highest ratings of any Friday-Saturday drama in MBC history. (The previous record belonged to “The red sleeve”, which ended with a national average of 17.4 percent in 2022).

Despite facing stiff competition from “Knight Flower,” SBS’s “Flex x Cop,” which airs in the same time slot, rose slightly to a nationwide average rating of 6.2 percent overnight.

Meanwhile, after a week-long hiatus due to the Lunar New Year holiday, “Korean-Khitan War“returned to the air with a national average of 8.7 percent, and “TV Chosun”My happy Ending” earned an average rating of 2.3 percent.

JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” rose to a national average rating of 5.7 percent for its final episode, while tvN’s “Captivating the King” fell to an average rating of 4.1 percent.

Finally, “Live your own life” continued its reign as Saturday’s most-watched show with a national average rating of 19.3 percent.
