Kyle Richards is discussing her and Mauricio Umansky’s marital problems.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star revealed during Wednesday’s episode that she and her ex-husband were in therapy in hopes of identifying the root of their problems.
Richards explained to her co-star Dorit Kemsley that a major problem between her and the real estate agent is that they barely fight, which she says has negatively affected their communication.
“Very often it’s like something is bothering one of us and we would rather be peaceful and not come to an agreement,” he said.
“I’m more of the ‘this bothers me’ guy and I have that fiery side where he just wants to be at peace all the time, but that’s not always a good thing.”
Richards, 55, also said she gets angry with Umansky, 53, because he often goes out on business, as he tends to miss important family events.
“I almost feel like he thinks ‘give Kyle some time and she’ll recover and be fine,’ but I tell him… it’s so much more than that,” she continued. “We need help.”
The Bravo star explained that the “Dancing With the Stars” alum agreed to be more present, but continues to focus his energy on his work, which she referred to as “her son.”
“So I think, if we have these problems, why can’t you give me that energy?” She continued.
Overall, Richards explained that he doesn’t feel like a priority for Umansky despite always supporting him in his efforts.
“I have supported him through everything since day 1, when he had nothing,” the Bravolebrity said in his confessional.
“When I told him that we were in trouble and that I needed you to work this out with me, he needed to feel like I was a priority and that we were a priority.”

“If we don’t make an effort or put in effort, we won’t end up together,” he added. “We will never survive this.”
In July 2023, Page Six confirmed that the couple decided to separate after 27 years of marriage.
At the time, they insisted it had been a “challenging” year for them and denied any “irregularity on anyone’s part.”
However, the couple appears to be struggling to stay married, as Richards admitted that she couldn’t imagine living a life without Umansky.
“I’ve been married almost my entire adult life,” she said. He said on Jeff Lewis Live. last month. “I don’t even know what life is without being with Mauricio. It’s hard. It is painful. It’s scary.”
The “Halloween” actress also said that “her whole identity is being a wife and mother” to her daughters Farrah Brittany, 34, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.
“I have four daughters and they are my best friends, but he is also my friend and I love him very much, and that is what is also difficult,” she continued.
Richards added that she still lives under the same roof as her ex-husband, but they share different rooms.
“If you didn’t know us, you would think everything is normal… I’m making dinner, we’re together,” he said.
The reality stars maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship and were recently seen on the slopes as a family for Christmas.
