Kylie Minogue performed “Padam Padam”, her 2023 dance-pop single Strain during the 2024 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday.
Appearing in a flowing red dress while bathed in red lighting, she was backed by dancers with choreography that synced perfectly with the sizzling dance number.
The Australian singer won the inaugural Best Pop Dance Recording award at the Grammys for the summer 2023 hit “Padam Padam,” which ranked No. 20 on Rolling StoneList of the 100 best songs of 2023, earlier this month. Titled after Kylie Minogue’s onomatopoeia for the sound of a beating heart, the winning song from her 16th album Strain marks her first Grammy trophy in two decades, having previously won Best Dance Recording in 2004 for “Come Into My World.”
