Lady Rose Hanbury is reportedly fed up with rumors that she had an affair with Prince William.
On Tuesday, royal expert Nick Bullen defended the mother of three. during an interview with Us Weeklysaying: “I know people who know the Marchioness of Cholmondeley very, very well, and she was not at all having an affair with the Prince of Wales:
“Even when those rumors surfaced a few years ago, she was very upset by them. “She is still very upset about them now.”
Hanbury, who is married to David Cholmondeley, 63, also shut down the rumors earlier this week, with her lawyer telling Business Insider that the rumors “are completely false.”

While rumors about Hanbury, 40, and William, 41, date back to 2019, rumors about their alleged affair resurfaced when the Prince’s wife, Kate Middleton, 42, underwent surgery in January.
Middleton’s continued absence from the spotlight led Internet sleuths to jump to conclusions about her marriage to William; even talk show host Stephen Colbert poked fun at the rumors on “The Late Show.”
“The kingdom has been shocked by the apparent disappearance of Kate Middleton. Well, now Internet sleuths are guessing that Kate’s absence may be related to her husband and future king of England, William, having an affair,” she said last week.
“So I think we all know who the supposed other woman is. Say it with me –– the Marchioness of Cholmondeley –– what a beautiful name! the comedian joked.
He added: “According to the tabloids at the time, when Kate supposedly confronted him about it, he laughed and said he had nothing to do. “It’s always a good response when your wife accuses you of cheating.”
Meanwhile, Middleton’s reps previously told us that she was recovering from “planned abdominal surgery” and would return to the public eye for performances around Easter.
Amid continuing conspiracy theories about her absence, the Princess of Wales made her first public appearance since Christmas Day over the weekend.
She was seen with her husband at a local farm store, looking relaxed in sportswear, according to video obtained by The Sun.
Hours earlier, Middleton and William were seen watching their children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, participate in sports matches, according to the outlet.
Her sighting comes after she took to Instagram to post a heavily edited photo on March 10, sparking further concern among fans.
And they’re not the only ones worried about Middleton. In fact, sources told Page Six that Prince Harry also has his own concerns.
