So much for dinosaurs doing parkour.

The upcoming “Jurassic World” semi-reboot is again looking for a director after David Leitch (“Deadpool 2,” “Bullet Train,” “Hobbs & Shaw”) abandoned negotiations with Universal Pictures.

According DeadlineThe split is said to have been amicable and the breakdown in talks was due to different creative visions for the project.

David Koepp, who wrote the first two “Jurassic Park” films based on the novels by Michael Crichton, will write the script.

According to the latest report, none of the previous stars like Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are expected to return as the plan here is to launch a “new Jurassic era.”

Producers Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley return as does executive producer Steven Spielberg. So far, the franchise has spanned six feature films that have surpassed $6 billion worldwide.

The new “Jurassic World” movie is still on track to be released on July 2, 2025.
