Lindsay Lohan learns that getting what you want isn’t always the best thing, in her latest film.

The new mom, 37, who has been spending time with her family while working in the Atlanta area, stars in the romantic comedy Irish Wish.

The trailer for the Netflix film was released on Tuesday.

In the trailer, Lindsay’s Maddie Kelly heads to Ireland for the wedding of a ‘friend’ she’s secretly in love with.

“I can’t help but think things would be different if I had told Paul how I felt,” she told her mother, Rosemary, played by 73-year-old Jane Seymour.

“It’s too late,” Maddie replied. But is it?

As she sits quietly in a picturesque garden, the lady in love makes her heart’s desire known. “I’d like to marry Paul Kennedy,” she whispers.

When she wakes up the next morning, everything has changed and, to her surprise, she is now the bride-to-be.

During wedding preparations, Maddie works with photographer James Thomas, played by Ed Speleers.

The cameraman is a little surprised when Paul, played by Alexander Vlahos, wants to use the wedding for “a good wedding but also a PR event” to boost his sales figures.

As Maddie begins to learn more about her relationship with Paul, including the fact that he “got down on one knee and proposed to her,” Maddie, who works as a marketing executive for Paul, realizes that walking down the aisle with her boss might not be the best for her.

As they explore the countryside in search of funds for the proposed photo shoot, Maddie spends more time with the photographer than with her fiancé.

The film was shot in September and October 2022 at various locations in Ireland.
