Three employees at the London hospital where Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery are being investigated for allegedly trying to access her medical records, according to a report.

Three London Clinic employees are facing disciplinary action after they were suspected of accessing the Princess of Wales’s medical records in an authorized manner and possibly sharing private royal information with others, according to ITV.

“There is no place in our hospital for those who intentionally violate the trust of any of our patients or colleagues,” Al Russell, CEO of the London Clinic, said in a statement.

The hospital reportedly contacted Kensington Palace immediately after officials learned of the potential breach. ZUMAPRESS.com

“We are very proud of the excellent care and discretion we aim to provide to all of our patients who rely on us every day.

“We have systems in place to monitor the management of patient information and in the event of any non-compliance, all appropriate investigative, regulatory and disciplinary action will be taken.”
