‘Love Storiyaan’ episode 6 produced by Karan Johar is banned in 6 countries, here’s what it’s all about

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day this year, a series titled ‘Love Storiyaan’ backed by Karan Johar’s OTT wing Dharmatic Entertainment was launched. It is a series guided by six directors: Akshay Indikar, Archana Phadke, Collin D’Cunha, Hardik Mehta, Shazia Iqbal and Vivek Soni and crafted by Somen Mishra. These directors depict love stories of 6 real-life couples, which are truly inspiring!

However, according to Pinkvilla, it is now known that episode 6 of this web series has been banned in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia and Egypt. This sixth episode is titled ‘Love Beyond Labels’ and features Tista and Dipan, a transgender couple. They reside in Kolkata and this episode shows their love story that began during their gender transition surgeries. This episode has left everyone amazed and made everyone talk about it. However, it is now banned in these countries.

Apart from this series, Karan has endorsed another series which will start airing soon. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelway and Shriya Saran.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Karan has a list of films like ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ starring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ with Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri. She has also hinted at a project starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Kajol.
Karan has co-produced ‘Jigra’ with Alia Bhatt, who also stars in it.
