Lukas Gage: The wedding was featured on an episode of the Kardashian reality show last year
White Lotus actor Lukas Gage apologized to Shania Twain after she sang a ballad at their wedding, as their marriage lasted only six months.
Gage said on an American television program that he wanted to apologize to Twain for “wasting his time.”
The actor played Dillon, who becomes involved with his hotel boss, Armond, in the first series of White Lotus.
Canadian music star and five-time Grammy winner Twain performed her 1998 hit, You’re Still the One, before the Las Vegas ceremony.
Shania Twain was the wedding singer for Gage and her ex-husband Chris Appleton
Gage, whose television work also includes Euphoria, called the marriage “a manic episode” and was also asked about the use of fur coats at the wedding ceremony.
“Did someone from the Kardashians TV show hand you fur coats and say, ‘Are you going to get married in these right now?'” Andy Cohen asked.
Gage responded: “I literally don’t know what went through my head. I don’t know what happened. Fur coats were a horrible idea.”

The ceremony was featured on an episode of the Kardashians’ reality TV show last year, when Kim was asked to officiate their wedding.
“Kim is great,” Gage said. “She was so sweet to fly us all out, take care of us, and pay for everything.
“I want to apologize to Shania Twain for wasting her time… I mean, ‘Are we still holding on, are you still the one,’ after about three weeks? That was crazy. It was like the biggest waste of her time.
“But I love you, Shania. I’m so sorry.”
The Los Angeles Times reported that Appleton filed for divorce from Gage in November of last year, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The British stylist’s other clients include Jennifer Lopez, Arianna Grande, Katy Perry and Dua Lipa.
He has yet to comment publicly on Gage’s comments.
