A wheelchair-bound Madonna fan said she has no grudge against the Queen of Pop for accidentally demanding she stand up during a recent concert.
“Some people are in wheelchairs and can stand; she had no idea I was paralyzed,” said Vanessa Gorman, who was left paraplegic in a 1999 car accident. he told TMZ Friday.
He added that he does not believe Madonna was intentionally cruel during the exchange.
Earlier this month, the The “Holiday” singer scolded Gorman for sitting in during their concert in Los Angeles.
“What are you doing sitting there? What do you get sitting down? she asked according to a video posted on TikTok before walking to the edge of the stage to get a closer look at the fan.
Madonna, 65, realized her mistake and immediately apologized.
“Ah, OK. Politically incorrect. Sorry,” he said at the time. “I’m glad you’re here.”
The clip, which has been viewed more than 2 million times, sparked outrage online.
“That’s a sad apology! What the hell. Give them their ticket back!! asked one social media user.

“She didn’t apologize enough,” another chimed in.

The oversight isn’t the only embarrassing moment on Madonna’s “Celebration” tour.
During a stop in Seattle, the mother of six fell during a performance of her 1986 hit “Open Your Heart” after one of her dancers apparently tripped while sliding her across the stage.
However, the “Like a Virgin” singer handled the situation like a pro at the time.
He quickly rolled over onto his stomach, continued singing, and laughed at the mishap.
Madonna’s tour was postponed last year when she suffered a health crisis that put her in intensive care while rehearsing.
Page Six exclusively reported that in August 2023 she was rushed to a New York City hospital and intubated for at least one night after she was found unconscious due to a “serious bacterial infection.”
Madonna then said during a concert in Brooklyn in December 2023, “The fact that I’m here right now is the fucking miracle.”
