A Malayalam film called Premalu, set in the backdrop of beautiful Hyderabad, is now ruling the box office. The romantic comedy stars Nalsen K. Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles and is directed by Girish AD. If a film has good content, the Malayali audience will embrace it, regardless of whether it has stars or not.

The same thing also happened with Premalu. Since day one, the film has been registering good occupancy rates and with strong word of mouth, Premalu has completely set the box office on fire. According to trade estimates, Premalu has collected around Rs 26 crore gross. For a film made on a budget of Rs 5 crore, this is a remarkable achievement. Kiran Josey and Girish AD co-wrote the script.

The film also received great reviews from critics. Premalu entered the second week on an extraordinary note, with a large increase in occupancy after strong midweek maintenance. Premalu also stars Sangeeth Prathap, Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan and Meenakshi Ravindran in crucial roles. Fantastic performer Fahadh Faasil co-produced this film along with Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Vishnu Vijay composed the tunes.
