The upcoming summer transfer window has the potential to be unforgettable with several top players expected to be on the merry-go-round to a different top team.
At the center of everything will be Real Madrid, which is considering, above all, the possibility of signing Kylian Mbappé. The Frenchman’s contract ends in the summer and he has already informed PSG of his desire to leave.
On the other hand, they also hope to strengthen the left-back position and are looking to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
Unlike Mbappé, he still has one year left on his contract, but he does not want to renew under the Bavarians’ conditions and hopes to earn almost 10 million euros a year with his next deal.
In the midst of all this, Florian Plettenberg Another of Bayern Munich’s stars, Joshua Kimmich, is reportedly open to a summer move, with Bayern also willing to sell him for a suitable offer.
However, he only considers five clubs for his future, among which is, of course, Real Madrid.
Kimmich’s current situation
It is clear that Thomas Tuchel is not a big fan of Kimmich and in recent times has often kept him out of the team or played him at right back.
The German coach believes that the midfielder, no matter how brilliant he is, is not a natural no. 6, which seems to have frustrated him.
And although Tuchel will not be Bayern’s coach next season, Kimmich presumably appears to be done with his tenure in Germany.
As such, he is set to move to another top club soon and his options are: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Does Madrid need you?
Madrid currently has one of the best young midfielders in world football with Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and, of course, Jude Bellingham.
Three of these five are likely to compete for a starting spot next season, with Toni Kroos and Dani Ceballos expected to act as substitutes, with Nico Paz also likely to be in the mix.
And there is little chance that Luka Modric will end up renewing, after all, which realistically will mean that there will be no room for Kimmich.
He will also end up costing a sum of between 40 and 50 million euros, in the last year of his contract, which can be used to strengthen other areas of the team, such as central defense or right back.
