The grand finale of the reality show Bigg Boss 17 hosted by Salman Khan took place last month. While Munawar Faruqui emerged winner, Abhishek Kumar bagged second place and Mannara Chopra secured third place. Speaking of Mannara, in particular, her journey was full of ups and downs. From her fight with Ankita Lokhande to her friendship with Munawar and Arun Mashettey, she grabbed attention for multiple reasons back then. And now, Mannara sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and talked about her journey, her sisters Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra, Munawar and much more.
Mannara Chopra talks about Priyanka Chopra-Parineeti cousins
During the candid conversation, Mannara revealed the reason why she did not mention her cousins on the show and said, “When people started talking about it, honestly, simple mann mein ek hich aata tha ki, why are you talking about my family and all that? Because if they have invited me to the Bigg Boss platform it is mainly because they like my personality and wanted me to be there as Mannara. Then you talk about me. You talk about my films, my journey, mera se lado, mera se baatein karo, mujhse gappe maaro.”

The actress added: “Don’t involve my family because everyone has their own space in life and they are also married, they have their own family. So don’t involve them. I feel it seems like some kind of boast that aap apne aap ko kisi tarah portrays kar rahe ho. I feel aaye hai from jitney celebrities and our host Salman Khan sir who represents our country on the international platform aaj woh log jitna mujhe jaante hai and they know me for my personality. So, agar har line mein kisi aur ka naam lungi toh accha nahi lagta. That was my only reason.”
During the conversation, Mannara also revealed how her sister Priyanka played an important role in her journey. The actress said: “She got me a photoshoot with Avinash Gowariker at that time and maine toh woh bas photos li, pata nahi woh kaise circula ho gayi, woh aise hello general karaya tha, you know you need a photo. And wahan se mujhe calls aane lage auditions ke.”
She added, “I started doing a lot of ads. So, I shot with Salman sir at that time for a commercial. I have shot with Imtiaz Ali sir in Lucknow and I have shot with Habib Faizal sir. So, Priyanka and I did three commercials together. It was a wonderful feeling. Then I was the face of Gaana.com, bajna chahiye gaana, ab woh launch hui jab meri movie Zid launch huyi thi.”
Mannara added that she is enjoying the love of her fans.
