Microsoft held its second Xbox Partner Preview event, where the company spent about 30 minutes highlighting third-party games coming to Xbox consoles and Windows PCs in the future.

Sleight of Hand is the next game from Framed creator Joshua Boggs

Joshua Boggs, the developer behind the mobile game Frame, has announced his next project: Sleight of Hand. Like his previous project, Sleight of Hand is a noir game with stealth gameplay. Players control Lady Luck, a private detective who uses dark magic to take down her former coven.

Sleight of Hand will launch on Xbox and PC next year and will also be available on Microsoft’s gaming service, Game Pass.

Creatures of Ava, looks like a cozier version of Palworld

11 Bit Studios took advantage of today’s Partner Preview presentation to reveal their next game, Creatures of Ava.

Creatures of Ava is a non-violent action-adventure game set in a fictional world full of monsters. Players control Vic, who uses a flute to tame wild creatures suffering from infection rather than fighting to eradicate them.

Creatures of Ava will launch sometime this year and will be available on day one for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers.

There’s a Roblox game where you play as Chucky, but only for a limited time

When you think of Roblox, the last thing that probably comes to mind is the fictional killer doll Chucky. Well, that changes today as Griefville: Survive the Nightmare will let you play as the killer doll for a limited time. In a press release, developer RocketRide Games reveals that Griefville’s gameplay will have players in a gameplay loop, where they will spend the day preparing before nightfall while attempting to endure nightmarish portals that “transport them to unique game modes.” .

“With Griefville: Survive the Nightmare!, we wanted to create an experience that tapped into the shared cultural touchstone of ’80s and ’90s horror for older Roblox users,” wrote Lois-Rene Auclair, CEO of RocketRide Games, in a Press release. “It’s not just about jump scares; it’s about capturing the atmosphere, tension, and pure joy of getting lost in a classic horror movie. We’re thrilled to bring Griefville to Roblox with the best partners possible!”

The long-awaited sequel, The Sinking City 2, is coming out next year

After a lengthy legal battle regarding the publishing rights to the original game, Frogwares has finally revealed that The Sinking City 2 will finally be out next year.

The Sinking City 2, a survival horror game set in 1920s America, will have players explore a semi-open world powered by Unreal Engine 5.

In addition to the release date, Frogwares revealed in a press release that it plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign to help raise funds for the development of Sinking City 2 as a Ukraine-based studio due to the impact the developer has faced as a result of the ongoing war with Russia.
