Singer actress Kelly Rowland She recently committed the ultimate sin by leaving “The Today Show” before co-hosting the 9 a.m. show, “Today with Hoda and Jenna.” Or, at least, that’s the narrative that’s been floating around since the Destiny’s Child artist left the morning show after an alleged dispute over her dressing room.

Although some viewers criticized Rowland for the last-minute cancellation, most fans supported her. He also received support from comedian and actor Marlon Wayans, who took advantage instagram to show his admiration for the “When Love Takes Over” singer.

“Everyone stop with these false narratives. I have worked with @kellyrowland as a star/producer. I will honestly say it was nothing short of AMAZING. Sweet, kind, professional. Punctuality, lots of energy, impeccable manners and professionalism,” she wrote. “She was nice to EVERYONE on set. Not a diva moment. Bad things happen in Hollywood. Get both sides before castrating more legends. I love this woman. Everyone stop with this nonsense. This woman was nothing less than a humble loving queen…PERIOD.”

Is not wrong. This is absolutely a “more about the story” situation. Maybe it was about the costumes? Maybe it was about The Savannah Guthrie Interview Earlier in the show, did some viewers feel it was too Beyoncé-centric? Maybe something we don’t even know happened behind the scenes?

The point is that everyone should keep their judgment to themselves.

It’s very special to see a high-profile black man defending Rowland right now. Let’s be honest: it’s not something we see enough. Typically, Black women who face these types of public misunderstandings are left alone and without any support. However, that’s not the case here, as Wayans made it very clear that he supports Rowland 100 percent.

Kelly Rowland can next be seen opposite Trevante Rhodes in the new thriller “Mea culpa”, which premieres on Netflix on February 23.
