When Instagram users took to the comments to point out that Blige had just shared her own post about not attending, the festival page responded that it was a mistake.
‘Yes, she will be here! She removed the pole. See you in Las Vegas,’ the comment said.
The Lovers & Friends festival is scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds on Saturday, May 4.
