Match prizes for Bayern Munich’s 3-2 escape against FC Augsburg | Top Vip News

After last week’s defeat, Bayern Munich have a point to prove as they faced Augsburg and won 3-2 thanks to goals from Aleksandar Pavlović, Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane. Who stood out today?

Shirt exchange: FC Augsburg

This is a time when Bayern can make any lesser team look 10 times better. With the entire team throwing tantrums at Bayern, why not just give the award to the 11 players? Augsburg’s players are worth much less than Bayern’s, but they played better for most of the game.

The Kaiser: Alphonso Davies

This was between Davies and Raphaël Guerreiro. Matthijs de Ligt and Eric Dier were meh, while the other two were more active in preparing the attacks; Guerreiro was decent in a position he played for the first time. Davies got a goal, so he gets the nod.

Football: Jamal Musiala

The only other midfielder worthy of an award. Like Leroy Sané, Musiala kept knocking on Augsburg’s door, causing all sorts of problems for Bavarians across the state, but no bottom line.

The bomber: Leroy Sané

Although most of the wingers were largely invisible (or injured, in the case of Kingsley Coman), Sané worked hard throughout the match. Although he failed to score a goal, he focused on defense and fell back.

Master of the match: Aleksandar Pavlović

Not much to choose from when the entire team was bored for most of the game. The fact that 19-year-old Pavlović has made a breakthrough and played as expected in a Bayern CDM, leaves no doubt that he will pick up the Master title. He exceeds all expectations and is a strong shout for a spot as a starting midfielder.
