Jaipur: Failing quality tests, 15 drugs produced by 14 pharmaceutical companies have been excluded from the state. The companies were supplying medicines to Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation (RMSC) for distribution under the state’s free medicines scheme. Tests determined that the medications were not of standard quality. Ltd, anti-blood group B serum (anti B monoclonal serum) produced by Meril Diagnostic Pvt. Limited. Ltd., Biphasic Isophane Insulin Injection 40 IU/ml (R-DNA Origin) produced by Cadila Pharmaceuticals has been banned for a limited time. M/s Wings Biotech and M/s Scott Edil Pharmacia Ltd have been asked not to supply metformin. Hcl and Glimepiride tablets Metformin Hcl-500 mg, Glimepiride-1 mg. Medipol Pharmaceuticals India Pvt Ltd has been banned from supplying domperidone oral drops 10 mg/ml (10 ml). Clomiphene Tab-50 mg from Alliance Biotech and cough syrup/expectorant from Rivpra Formulation, as well as paracetamol tab-500 mg produced by Mercury Laboratories Ltd have also been excluded.
