If you thought Megan Thee Stallion’s “beef” with Nicki Minaj (and Minaj’s subsequent social media rant) was going to stop anything, you thought wrong!
Thee Stallion isn’t phased, and if I’m honest, he hasn’t been since he dropped his first single and music video of the new year, “Hiss,” last week. In fact, there’s been nothing but pretty pics, gym pics, and his latest announcement on Tuesday’s episode of “Good morning america” It simply reaffirmed his level of calm.
“So far, 2024 is very bright, as if it is already working hard. I’m trying to keep the pretty girls happy, they’re fussing with me right now. They say ‘where’s the music?’ she told the outlet. A little later, she revealed even more good news:
“Oh, we’re going to do the tour this year. The Hot Girl summer tour will be in 2024, summer. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my thing during the summer since 2019. So this will be the first time I’ve released an album in time for the summer. I want to give the Hotties (her fan base) the Megan Thee Stallion experience.
Yes, you heard right: Thee Stallion is coming soon to a city near you! However, if you’re like me and ready to shake your body (ody-ody) with her now and like to pregame to the next stop, let me give you a list of songs that I think would be perfect for when she lands:
1. “Hiss”: after all the commotion it has caused, it is only fair that it starts strong.
2.” Plan B”— Maintaining that same “I said what I said and I don’t care who likes it” energy, this song is one of the few that I rap with my whole chest.
3. “Her”: As she said in her first episode of “Savage,” she is that bitch, she has been that bitch and she will always be that bitch. And this song is a great example of that.
4. “Body” – This song rose on the music charts for good reason. There’s no way she’s not playing this one.
5. “Girls In the Hood”: I may be alone with this one, but this Eazy E sample just makes the crowd show up and doesn’t get its due. But I need this one for sure.
6. “Budget” feat. Latto: Given his current feud with Minaj, bringing Latto to perform would not only be cool but also *a little* petty since both Latto and Minaj also feuded.)
7. “Thot Shit”: Once again, this caused so much chaos that it’s only fair that I perform it for the people who respect it. (Also known as us, his fans).
8. “Bongos” – This one is full of fun bars and good beats and will also see her and Cardi B. getting together and we all know what happens when those two meet. A GOOD MOMENT.
9. “WAP”—If Cardi is on stage for “Bongos,” it’s only fair that they perform this song. Doing anything else would simply be criminal.
10. “Megan’s Piano” – Once again, this is an underrated hit, but I need to hear it loud and in a crowd.
