Miley Cyrus snubbed her father Billy Ray Cyrus during her 2024 Grammys acceptance speech on Sunday night.
The hitmaker, 31, won Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her hit song Flowers, but made no mention of her famous father when thanking her friends and family during her speech.
But his new stepfather, Dominic Purcell, showed his support by attending the ceremony with his mother Tish, whom he married in August last year.
Australian radio hosts KIIS FM Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson reacted to Miley’s decision to snub Billy Ray on Tuesday.
“Last night when he was thanking everyone, I think it was pretty obvious that he almost forgot (his father),” Jackie said.
“As a parent, that would be heartbreaking,” Kyle admitted.
