Rumors about a supposed successor to the Switch continue, and the latest report (which certainly backs up many previous claims) comes from a Reuters “exclusive.”
According to the news agencyNvidia is currently “building a new business unit” specializing in “designing custom chips” for hardware companies; Its “source” claims that the tech giant has put together a “custom design” for Nintendo’s next-generation handheld system.
Here’s the segment about Nintendo in this “exclusive”, which also mentions the new hardware expected to arrive this year:
“Nintendo’s current Switch handheld console already includes Nvidia’s Tegra
Nintendo (as you may have already guessed) declined to comment on this latest report, although once again, the links to Nvidia and the estimated release window are not a surprise, given previous rumors. This basically reaffirms existing reporting from many other outlets.
