How do I watch the 2024 NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest?
All-Star Saturday Night begins at 8 p.m. EST on TNT. The 3-Point Contest is the second of four events, which would mean an approximate start time of 8:30 p.m., assuming all four events and commercial breaks are equal length.

What is the format for the 2024 NBA 3-Point Contest?
Player order: The order of competitors in the first round will be drawn randomly, but defending champ Damian Lillard will compete last.
Scoring format: Five ball racks are placed at specified areas across the 3-point arc with five balls apiece. Four of the racks will have four orange NBA balls and one multi-colored “money” ball. Orange balls are 1 point. Multi-colored are 2.
Bonus shot: If time permits, a player may attempt two final shots with a white “STARRY” ball from specified areas on the floor. That shot is worth 3 points.
First round: All eight players will take their turns, and the three players with the highest scores will advance to the final. In the event of a tie, players will compete for 30 seconds using the same competition format until the tie is broken.
Final round: Competition order will be the inverse of the top 3 scores from the first round. The same competition rules will be followed, but the tiebreaker in the finals will be full 70-second turns until a winner is crowned.
