The board wants all fit players who are not playing in the senior team to participate in their teams’ Ranji Trophy.
The verdict comes from the Indian board amid the ongoing debate over the status of batsman Ishan Kishan, who remains reluctant to play in the Ranji Trophy despite being fit.
Since leaving the tour of South Africa midway due to mental fatigue, Ishan has not appeared in any competitive cricket match. He was last seen practicing with his Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya at the Reliance Stadium.
