Socialite Natasha Poonawalla threw a grand party in Mumbai to welcome the Jonas Brothers – Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas on January 27, 2023. The boy band performed on the first day of the Lollapalooza concert and headed straight to the residence of Natasha Poonawalla to attend her welcome party. Celebrities like Sonam Kapoor with Anand Ahuja, Malaika Arora, Madhuri Dixit with her husband Dr Shriram Nene, Aditi Rao Hydari with Siddharth, Sussanne Khan, Rohini Iyer, Ishan Khatter and many others arrived at the party in their best style . Many stars shared moments from the party on their Instagram accounts, which soon went viral. Singer Nick Jonas and his brothers Joe and Kevin captivated thousands of fans with their debut performance in Mumbai. Known as The Jonas Brothers, the popular American band performed for an hour and a half at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in south Mumbai on the first day of the second edition of Lollapalooza India. Before the trio took to the stage, a lively song ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ by Priyanka and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ was played to set the mood for the evening. Nick, who is married to actress Priyanka Chopra, was greeted with chants of “jiju, jiju” throughout his performance. “This is our first time performing in India. The sangeet doesn’t count,” Nick joked, referring to his elaborate pre-wedding ceremony with Priyanka in 2018. He also spoke of his “special connection” to India . “We, as a family, have a very, very deep connection to the country,” Nick said as the crowd began chanting “heehee, heehee.” “Thank you for inviting us and we will make the most exciting night ever,” he added. The Jonas Brothers sang a medley of soft, upbeat songs including ‘Celebrate,’ ‘Sucker,’ ‘What a Man Gotta Do,’ ‘Close,’ and ‘Jealous,’ among others, during their performance. Nick surprised everyone with his own version of ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ alongside rapper King on stage, who sang in Hindi. A group of five friends who attended the event said they thoroughly enjoyed the Jonas Brothers’ performance.
