The much-awaited Tollywood epic Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, is currently in production. Recently, the team traveled to Italy to record a song. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on May 9, 2024.
In the latest development, Disha Patani, who is also part of the cast, returned to Delhi after completing her shoot in Italy. She confirmed her return to India on her Instagram profile. This suggests that the filming of the song she participated in has concluded. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether the rest of the team remains in Italy or has also returned to India.
The film features legendary actor Kamal Haasan as the antagonist, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Rajendra Prasad, Pasupathy and others in prominent roles. Produced by the renowned label Vyjayanthi Movies, the film’s soundtracks are being meticulously crafted by Santhosh Narayanan.
